Everything happens at South Shore Community Church because we have fantastic teams
of passionate people who love to give their unique gifts and talents as an act of worship, serving
others so they can experience the love of Jesus. We believe EVERYONE has a part to play and
something to give! We’d love for you to get involved. If one of these areas catches your interest,
please get in touch, and someone will contact you to talk through what it could look like for you.
Children and families
Would you like to help create environments where children and families feel deeply loved,
valued and growing in a relationship with Jesus? If so we would love to hear from you.

ADMINISTRATION
Do you love organizational and administrative tasks? Join us as needed for assistance and
projects, either ongoing or as needed.
Communion
Would you like to help when we celebrate communion together? Once per month on a Sunday
morning, we prepare and set it up prior to the meeting.
welcome and hospitality
Would you like to serve as a point of connection during our Sunday morning gathering and
other events, making all people feel welcome? This team helps to create a spacious and
friendly atmosphere in a variety of ways, so that all can feel at home. You can be part of
creating a place where people feel a sense of belonging and connection.
youth
Would you like to be part of a team who invests in the lives of youth in 5th to 12th grade on
Sunday mornings or Sunday nights? Get in touch with us!

Worship/TECH
Do you love Jesus and want to help lead others in worshipping Him? Do you have musical,
sound or technical talent or interest? We would love to hear from you.
MEDIA
Do you have an interest in live video broadcasting? Do you have skills, interest and/or
experience with photography? Would you like to be part of a team who serves in this way
during Sunday morning gatherings, worship nights and other events? We would love to hear
from you.

communications
Is effective communication important to you? Do you have a passion for helping to connect
others to each other and to God? Are you creative, and good at coming up for strategic ideas
for creative ways of communicating?
prayer
Would you like to help people to connect to God, and to see them experience His love?
Would you like to serve people by being available to praying with them during our Sunday
morning gatherings? If so we would love to hear from you.
Odd Jobs
This could include mending fences, odd jobs around the office, landscaping, hanging lights
and other outdoor projects. The team jumps in when something needs to be done.
GATHERING SETUP
This team helps set up and take down our space on a Sunday morning or other gatherings. They
help to get our space ready for experiencing the presence of Jesus and building community.
care
Do you enjoy being present with people in times of suffering and grief? Do you want to cheer
others on in love people through encouraging and supporting them?
Whether it's sitting with someone who has experienced bereavement, checking in on someone,
or being a listening ear, this team leads by example in showing love to those around them.
connect
Do you enjoy meeting new people? Do you want to see those who are new to church feel
welcomed and a part of our church community? This team provides opportunities for those who
are new to first of all meet Jesus and experience His love, to have the space to grow, to
understand our church’s vision and values, get to know others, and decide where they would like
to contribute. If this sounds like something you would like to be involved in, we would love to

LYNN MINISTRIES
We gather monthly to pack brown bagged lunches for our friends who are experiencing
homelessness in Brockton. These lunches are given to a group called LYNN Ministries (Love
Your Neighbor Now) for distribution.
