In John 8, Jesus freed the demoniac from the demons who had taken control of him. Everyone else feared him and considered him a lost cause but just Jesus’ presence subdued the demons.
In Luke 19, Zacchaeus, an outcast tax collector, seeks Jesus and is loved and accepted by him. God’s supernatural love and acceptance frees Zacchaeus from his rebellion toward society.
Wherever Jesus is, there is freedom. When we’re set free, Satan tells us we are still bound. We need to hold on to the truth that we are free.
